Steve Oliver & Suzanne
Asbury-Oliver Fly the Oregon Aero® SkyDancer
Steve
Oliver is a veteran aerobatic pilot who introduced his
SkyDancer to the airshow circuit in 1989… the same
year that Mike Dennis introduced Oregon Aero’s
founding product, The SoftTop® Headset
Cushion. Since then, Steve and his skywriting wife, Suzanne
Asbury-Oliver, have enjoyed the benefits of Oregon Aero
products. |

Skywriter
Suzanne Asbury-Oliver piloted Pepsi’s
original 1929 open cockpit skywriting airplane
(now retired
to the Smithsonian Institution). Suzanne and
Steve are the only husband- and-wife professional
skywriting and aerobatic duo, and both now
fly the Oregon Aero® SkyDancer.

Steve
and Suzanne rely on custom seats, helmet and
headset upgrades, plus ShockBlockers® Insole
Inserts by Oregon Aero.
"Pilots
who don’t have Oregon Aero products are
missing one of the great advancements in comfort," says
Steve.
As
of 2005, Steve and Suzanne have flown on the wings of
Oregon Aero, performing aerobatics, pyrobatics and skywriting
with the Oregon Aero® SkyDancer.
Oregon Aero is proud to be the title sponsor of this

The
Red Eagle Airshow Team flies with Oregon Aero® seat cushion systems and
upgraded headgear. Mike Dennis of Oregon Aero (shown sitting
in a Red Eagle aircraft) says, “Our seat products help
performers feel ‘glued’ to their airplanes," says
Mike. “And we’re glad to help them fly with
less noise and without pain."
"I’ve relied on Oregon Aero for years for safety, comfort and performance. I’ve got a one-of-a-kind bi-plane, the Talon Eagle. When I get into extreme aerobatics, the Pilot SoftSeat® doesn’t compress with Gs. Having the seat height remain consistent is really importantyou need the same line of sight for every maneuver and landing. ‘Flying by the seat of your pants’ isn’t a cliché; it’s true. Every sensory input you get, whether it’s the seat of your pants, your inner ear, or what you see, it’s
all input. When the input from your seat is stable, it adds
consistency and control to your performance."
Dan McClung, Red Eagle Airshow Team and Airline Pilot |

| Praise
For Oregon Aero From Lima Lima |
"I
bought a set of (Oregon Aero) ear seals and like magic,
my helmet problems went away. No more hot spots. No
more erratic noise canceling....We got their Portable
Seat Cushions just in time for the longest trip of the
year, a five day excursion to Las Vegas which included
25 hours in the cockpit. We threw the cushions in literally
as we were leaving...and never thought about them again.
We
have tried a lot of different things to ease the pain
in the butt that is T-34 flying over long distances,
including pillows, gel cushions, and medical cushions.
Nothing has ever come close to performing like Oregon
Aero cushions! They are lightweight, portable...and
affordable."
Lou Drendel, Lima Lima Flight Team Pilot |

Magic Aerobatic Team Uses Oregon Aero Upgrades |
"Clear
communications are vital during airshow formation aerobatic
performances. Our lives depend on it. Oregon Aero's
helmet upgrades provide the best in noise attenuation
and long wearing time comfort. We don't leave the ground
without them!"
- Michael Kennedy, Swift Magic Aerobatic Team Captain.

"If
you are flying more than 45 minutes at a stretch, Oregon Aero
upgrades are true ear savers; they might even
be life savers given the distraction a noisy cockpit
provides." Dr. B.W., Anchorage, Alaska
"Just got around to installing your HushKit® upgrade
in
my headset that I use in the Stearman. This is a very high noise environment,
with
exhaust stack noise in the right ear and lots of wind buffeting. The
result was, I now turn down the volume control about 30 percent from
what was necessary before.
I plan to put out the word to the Stearman community...this product
really works!" B.B.

"
My fiance has had difficulty because she is 5' tall and needs
a booster seat to see out of the Piper Dakota windshield.
She also experienced frequent headaches from (her) headsets.
We purchased an (Oregon Aero) seat cushion and lumbar support
(and) a complete headset kit... you can add another couple
of very satisfied customers to your growing list. Thank you
for the hard work you put into producing products that improve
the comfort of pilots and passengers."
