"Innovation" Once Again Helps Oregon Aero Stand Out SEDCOR (the Strategic Economic Development Corporation), whose mission is to support economic development in the Mid-Willamette Valley, Oregon, recognized Oregon Aero, Inc. at the annual SEDCOR Honors Luncheon for Oregon Aero’s record of innovation in product development and manufacturing. The corporation especially focused on the Oregon Aero® BLSS® Kit, a painless, safer ground troop military helmet liner padding system and chin strap/harness used by several branches of the military. The pads are manufactured in the company’s Salem, Oregon manufacturing facility.   "It is fitting that Oregon Aero receive the award for Innovation," said a SEDCOR spokesperson, "since one of the phrases often used by the company to describe what they do is ‘New Ways of Thinking to Solve Old Problems®.’" Other companies received awards for Manufacturer of the Year, Service Provider of the Year, Exporter of the Year, and for Community Service.
