Testing Confirms Improved Shock Absorption, Vibration Isolation

forklift rigged with testing equipment

A Hyster forklift is rigged with testing equipment that measures shock absorption and vibration isolation. Data is fed into and collected through a device attached to the cushion bottom (an independent tester examines data in the photo below). The forklift is driven at varied speeds over a variety of surfaces; the operator also provides feedback regarding fatigue, impact, and comfort. Test results with the Oregon Aero cushion system? Operators — without exception — are happy!

Testing Hyster

As with all our products, we tested our Forklift Cushion System to create a design that achieved optimum performance. The cushion system uses several materials, including visco-elastic foam, and dramatically improves shock absorption and vibration isolation.
