WHAT
SETS OREGON AERO APART? |
 |
 |
| Five
characteristics set Oregon Aero apart from the competition: |
| 1 |
Our
ability to work with manufacturing materials in dramatically
more effective ways than other manufacturers through complex,
effective product designs. Oregon Aero also often designs
and manufactures its own manufacturing equipment.
"Theres no magic material; we may use as many as
a dozen different materials in one product. Materials contribute
to a great product, but its the engineering that makes
the difference. You dont simply replace bad
material with good material and fix a problem."
Mike Dennis, Oregon Aero founder and president |
 |
Oregon
Aero uses several materials in our custom seat cushion
systems, including visco-elastic foam. The materials
and designs work together to create pain-free seating.
|
27
Steps - Whatever
it takes, that's what we'll do to create an effective product.
In this case, it requires 27 steps to manufacture one of our
patented helmet liner pads used in Oregon Aero® Helmet
Liner Padding Systems. Here, pads are removed carefully following
the application of a gas permeable, but moisture and waterproof,
proprietary coating. |
|
 |
| 2 |
Our
commitment to design and manufacture customized products.
We dont create "one size fits all" products
to make it easier for us. Whatever the application, we
custom design each and every product. Oregon Aero takes the
time to go through as many designs as necessary to get the
most effective product possible. We talk to people who will
use (and maintain!) the product, we conduct extensive
testing and evaluation, and we dont stop until were
satisfied the product performs optimally. |

Custom
Products - Creating a custom designed
seat cushion system for a CH-46 helicopter used
in logging. The custom seat design enables the
pilot to lean out of the cockpit comfortably
while eyeing his sling load. |

Our
dedication to 100% customer satisfaction.
"We found Oregon Aero to be a customer friendly
company which did what it said it would and on time. We
have
no reservations in recommending this product," said
edtiors of Aviation Consumer Magazine, evaluating
Oregon Aeros
upgrade of the magazines Mooney pilot seat cushion
system.

Cushion Details - A hand strap to help the

chafing and
reduce maintenance. Just two of several details built
into the design of a KC-135 seat cushion system. |

Our
ability to create products for a wide variety of industries.
"Who would have thought wed make forklift cushions?
Or military helmet liners? Or shoe inserts?
But one thing leads to another, and the pathways never end."

| Solving
Problems - Oregon
Aero solves one problem, and it leads to
solving another, and another...and to creating
products such as the ShockBlockers® Insole
Inserts and the BLSS® Kit
(Ballistic Liner and Suspension system). |

Cushion System |
The
Oregon
Aero® BLSS® Kit creates
a pain-free, safer, stable, and positively buoyant
helmet. The
patented pads also are gas/air permeable, moisture
and waterproof, and self-wicking, creating a cooler,
drier helmet. The BLSS® Kit
includes an innovative four-point chin strap and
integrated nape
pad harness
system. Developed for the U.S. Army Special Operations
in 1997, the padding systems are used by military,
