"I flew with the ZetaLiner® Helmet Liner (and other upgrade components) in my HGU-68P helmet for the S-3B today and was very impressed with the comfort and the sound protection. Usually, I’m turning up the volume on the radios while we are flying at higher airspeeds, but not so today. The liner and ear protection worked as advertised." — Lt. F.O.

"Over the past 15 years I have flown over 30 different fixed and rotary wing aircraft across the spectrum of Combat to Developmental Test and Evaluation. The single biggest operational enhancement I have personally experienced is the Oregon Aero® ZetaLiner®. The fatigue associated with tactical NVG evolutions is primarily (caused by) a poorly fitting helmet.
The ZetaLiner® Hlmet Liner instantly eliminates the helmet induced fatigue, qualifying it as a ‘Combat Enhancement’. Two additional Oregon Aero products are notable, the SoftSeal® Ear Cushions and SoftSeat® Cushion. The...cushions contribute significantly to managing fatigue and ensuring a consistently tailored fit each time you strap on an aircraft. I recommend the ZetaLiner® (Helmet Liner) to anyone required to operate in a high workload environment wearing a helmet, especially if NVD’s are also required. It will make a believer out of you immediately." — D.A., AH-1W WTI/ETP

How to Select the Correct ZetaLiner® Helmet Liner Length and Thickness

Choosing a ZetaLiner™ Length
Choosing a ZetaLiner® Helmet Liner Length

Measure the inside of your helmet from front to back, down into the bowl, as shown in the photo. Then consult the chart below and find the correct part number.

Choosing a ZetaLiner® Helmet Liner Thickness

The ZetaLiner® Helmet Liner comes in four thicknesses: 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" and 5/8".
The most commonly used thickness is 3/8". To select the proper ZetaLiner® Helmet Liner thickness, review the information below, then find your part number
. NOTE: If your TPL®* has been heated and fitted, you will probably need a ZetaLiner® Helmet Liner one thickness thinner than those listed below.

IF YOUR TPL® LINER HAS: THEN TRY:
2 Layers 1/4" ZetaLiner® Liner
3 Layers 3/8" ZetaLiner® Liner
4-5 Layers 1/2" ZetaLiner® Liner
5+ Layers 5/8" ZetaLiner® Liner

NOTE: The sizing informaton above is intended to suggest a starting point for the fitting process. Each pilot should be fitted individually for comfort and stability. Final results may differ from the above data. We are committed to helping customers select the proper ZetaLiner® Helmet Liner.
