FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Approved Oregon Aero® Zeta II™ Helmet Liner Eliminates Hot Spots, Is Fitted In Minutes. Pilots and Crew Concentrate on Flying, Not Pain.

Scappoose, OR - The PM Air Warrior approved Oregon Aero® Zeta II™ Helmet Liner solves the problems of liner hot spots, perspiration and helmet instability - safety-related problems which can reduce focus and execution of the mission.

USAARL tested and designed for the HGU-56P helmet, the lighter weight Zeta II™ Helmet Liner replaces the liner between the head and the styrene crush liner of the helmet. Pilots, crew and support personnel can fit the Zeta II™ Helmet Liner in minutes.

Localized blood loss causes helmet liner pain. The Oregon Aero® Zeta II™ Helmet Liner molds to the head each time and keeps blood flowing, so there’s no more top-of-the-head ischemia (“hot spots”). The self-wicking outer fabric controls heat buildup and reduces perspiration. The hand washable* Helmet Liner also eliminates “bob and roll” instability, even with night vision or other externally mounted equipment.

The Oregon Aero® Zeta II™ Helmet Liner is available in four lengths and four thicknesses. Guidelines to determine the best fit are available online.

*The Zeta II™ Helmet Liner is hand washable with mild soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry flat on a large towel folded over to cover. A rolling pin or similar object can be used to squeegee the excess water. Re-shape and air dry in a warm place or in front of a fan. Do not wring or use an artificial heat source to dry. The Liner should dry overnight unless conditions are humid.
