EAA AirVenture 2010 — Because the 2010 EAA Sweepstakes Husky A-1C features Oregon Aero® VK SmartCushion™ Seating, whoever wins the aircraft will be able to enjoy pain-free seating, no matter how long the flight! Winner of the Husky will be announced on the last day of AirVenture, August 1, at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Stu Horn, president of Aviat Aircraft, which provided the Husky, has stated, “Aviat believes Oregon Aero produces the finest aircraft custom-manufactured seat cushion system with respect to safety and comfort, as well as long service life.”
Says Mike Dennis, president and CEO of Oregon Aero, “We are happy to provide the seat cushions for EAA’s 2010 Aircraft Sweepstakes Husky. Our relationships with EAA and Aviat Aircraft go back many years, and we are pleased to be associated with both of them in this worthwhile project.”
Oregon Aero seating systems combine state-of-the-art engineering with superb technical craftsmanship. The seating shifts the hips, pelvis and back into the proper, pain-free sitting position. At the same time, occupants are supported over the entire seat surface, preventing pain caused by “hot spots.” Each seat cushion system is made from several materials, including visco-elastic foam, and as many as 20 individually shaped pieces.
