Tony Erickson Named Chief Operating Officer
Scappoose, OR - Tony Erickson, 17-year employee of Oregon Aero, Inc., has been named the company’s Chief Operating Officer, effective August 5, 2009. Owners Mike Dennis, President and Chief Executive Officer and Jude Dennis, Vice President, announced the appointment at an employee meeting Wednesday, August 5 at Scappoose headquarters.
As COO, Erickson will manage Oregon Aero daily operations. He will be responsible for helping lead the company to achieve and surpass goals and objectives related to sales, operational infrastructure, various internal and external processes, and growth.
“Tony Erickson continually has taken on more significant responsibilities,” says Jude Dennis, “and with each new challenge has performed at the highest and most capable level.”
“Tony brings to the COO position a deep and thorough understanding of the principles and objectives of Oregon Aero,” says Mike Dennis. “He possesses technical, product development, manufacturing and management expertise; and a positive attitude and outlook. We look forward to his continued contributions to the company.”
Since 1995, Erickson served as Research & Development Manager and Seat Department Manager and in 2006 also was named Program Manager for Helmet Systems. Erickson began as a Seat Cushion Design Technician in 1992.
